Bring them with you. You can import contacts, send them your store link, even pre-populate their accounts so they can claim them. Your customers stay yours — they're using the platform because you told them to.

Each completed order routes through Stripe Connect. The 4% platform fee (capped at $30) is added to your customer's checkout — your payout is your fuel revenue plus your delivery fee, minus Stripe processing fees. Funds land in your connected bank account on Stripe's standard schedule (typically 2 business days for new accounts).

You may need commercial general liability, commercial auto, and environmental impairment liability where applicable. You'll also likely need state/province-specific fuel delivery permits, hazmat certifications, DOT registration, and fire marshal approval depending on your jurisdiction. Don't have all of it yet? Yes. The base plan covers 2 drivers. Each additional driver is $19/month. You can run as many trucks as you have, across as many service zones as you want (zone expansion is a separate add-on). Drivers each get their own login, their own delivery history, their own performance metrics.

You leave. No exit fee, no penalty, no stalling — export your customer list and walk. If Fuel Taxi has earned your business, you stay. If not, you shouldn't.

One thing we want to be transparent about: signing up for Fuel Taxi includes an agreement not to reverse-engineer the platform. Our patent is pending, and the IP, infrastructure, and engineering behind this came from years of building. We give you the tools for free — it would be a problem for both sides if that gift were used to compete directly with us. If you want a fully custom-built app and dispatch platform for your brand, we offer that as a separate service (Fuel Taxi Custom) — that's the right path for it. You can't join Fuel Taxi free and then port the tooling to a custom build with us; we'd want to start that conversation fresh and structured properly.

In most cases, being on the platform means more visibility, more customers, and shared marketing momentum as we grow into your area. We're here to help you choose the right path, transparent about both options, and committed to long-term relationships with every Fuel Pro and Custom client.

Neither. You're an independent operator using Fuel Taxi as your technology platform. You own your business, your customers, your brand. Fuel Taxi provides the software, the payments infrastructure, and the customer-facing app — you provide everything else.

If you're actively in the process of getting licensed and have a clear path to launch within 90 days, yes. Apply, do the demo call, and we'll talk through your timeline. Your account stays in pre-launch mode until your compliance documents are uploaded and approved.
