Add payment information: payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card details
Add delivery information: addresses, vehicle details, equipment details, photos of vehicles or locations, access notes
Communicate through the Platform: messages, support requests, ratings, reviews
Place orders: order details, fuel type, quantity, timing, delivery location
Submit feedback or content: feedback forms, surveys, suggestions
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform we automatically collect:
Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, device identifiers
Usage data: pages and screens viewed, features used, actions taken, timestamps
Location data: GPS location during active orders for delivery and tracking purposes; approximate location based on IP address for general Platform use
Log data: IP address, access times, error logs
Cookies and similar technologies on our website
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
Stripe: payment processing data and verification information
Authentication providers: if you sign in through a third-party service

1.4 Call Recordings
Calls placed through the Platform may be recorded. Recordings include audio of the conversation, timestamps, and call duration. Recordings are stored securely and accessed only for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and safety purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 With Your Fuel Pro
When you place an order, the following information is shared with the Fuel Pro fulfilling your order: your name, contact information (phone and email), delivery address, vehicle and equipment information, access notes, photos you have uploaded for the delivery location, order details, and payment status. Fuel Pros agree to use this information only for fulfillment and only during their active participation on the Platform. This sharing is necessary to complete your delivery.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:
Stripe: payment processing
Twilio: call routing, messaging, and recording infrastructure
Cloud hosting providers (such as AWS or Cloudflare): data storage and Platform infrastructure
Mapping and routing providers: navigation and location services
Analytics providers: Platform usage analysis
Customer support tools: ticket management and communication
Service providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we authorize.
3.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information to law enforcement, government agencies, or other third parties when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fuel Taxi, our users, or the public.
3.4 Business Transfers

4. Text Messaging
By opting in to text messages from Fuel Taxi, you agree to receive transactional messages about your orders and account: order confirmations, delivery status updates, delivery reminders, and support replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. No mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in data will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with service providers acting on our behalf, solely to deliver these messages and support services, is permitted.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain different categories of information for different periods based on legal requirements and operational needs:
Account information: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion
Order and transaction records: retained for at least seven (7) years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements
Proof of delivery records (photos, GPS, timestamps): retained for the duration of any applicable dispute window plus one year, and longer if related to an active investigation or legal matter
Marketing communications data: retained until you opt out, then removed within a reasonable period
Call recordings: retained for at least twelve (12) months, then archived or deleted per our retention schedule

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
Right to access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Right to correction: request correction of inaccurate information
Right to deletion: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements

| When you request deletion of your account, we delete your profile, contact information, saved addresses, payment methods, and vehicle profiles within thirty (30) days. However, we retain transaction records, proof of delivery records, and other operational data as required by law and for legitimate business purposes including tax compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Your name on retained records is anonymized so the records can no longer be associated with you personally, but the underlying transaction data is preserved. If a Fuel Pro has placed a Do Not Service flag on your account, the phone number and email associated with that flag may be retained by the Fuel Pro to honor their decision regardless of account deletion. |
7. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure data storage, access controls, and security monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is one hundred percent (100%) secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Fuel Taxi operates in the United States and Canada. Your information may be transferred to and stored in either jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information across these borders. Where required by law we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. 11. Canadian Residents (PIPEDA)
If you are a Canadian resident, your personal information is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You have the right to access and correct your personal information and to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Platform or by email. The “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last updated.
